At Firemaker, we’ll help you…

…get the perfect wood-burning fire for your interior, whether it's a statement piece for a hotel reception or a focal point to snuggle up to in your own home. Our award-winning designers will help you specify a fire and advise how best to incorporate it into your interior to get the greatest visual impact and wow your visitors.

As well as design guidance, we’ll help you through the practical side of things too. We can work with your builders, architects and interior designers to integrate a Firemaker creation into your renovation or new build.

Our Story

Firemaker started life in England, Lancashire, in 2005, with owner James Clegg bringing his years of industry experience, skills and knowledge to his own designs, hand-building wood-burning stoves from his workshop at the bottom of the garden.

Since then, some things have changed, and some things have remained the same. We’re a bit bigger now, but we’re still based on site, albeit in a much bigger purpose-built workshop. We make our products here in Britain and are lucky to be based in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

We work with suppliers and specialists as locally as possible to keep all aspects of our business and materials based as close to home in the UK as we can, from steel to stove paint. That being said, we create fires for clients across the UK and internationally and have happy customers in many European countries as well as the US and even Australia.

Our Core Values

Firemaker has over 15 years of design, consultation and manufacturing experience in the stove sector, and we share this with you at every stage of our consultation, design and advisory process. Every stove is handmade to order and so lead times can vary, so get in touch with us to find out what they are.

Over the years, our commitment to the excellent fires, and Spaniel’s, has remained the same.
